Terms of Service

HygieneXperts provides residential and commercial cleaning across Greater Sydney, including regular home cleaning, deep and spring cleans, end-of-lease cleaning, and commercial services such as office, strata and kitchen exhaust cleaning. The specific tasks included in your service are those listed in the quote we send you.

Quotes are based on the information you give us about your property and the service required. If the actual condition, size or scope differs materially from what was described, we will discuss any change in price with you before proceeding we will never do extra chargeable work without your agreement. Prices are in Australian dollars and, where applicable, include GST. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

To change or cancel a booking, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice by phone or email. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or where our team cannot access the property at the booked time, may attract a fee to cover our costs. We will always try to be flexible and to offer you the next suitable time.

Your clean is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something has been missed or is not up to standard, let us know within 24 hours of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected areas free of charge. The guarantee covers the tasks included in your quote.

So we can complete your clean safely and on time, please make sure our team can access the property at the booked time and that running water and electricity are available. If we are unable to access the property, a cancellation fee may apply as set out above.

HygieneXperts holds public liability insurance. A copy of our certificate of currency can be provided to residential customers, strata managers or facility managers on request.

We treat your home and workplace with care. In the unlikely event that our team causes damage or breakage, please tell us in writing within 24 hours of the service, with photos where possible, so we can investigate promptly and put things right. This process does not cover pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or items that were already unstable, fragile or improperly fixed.

Unless we have agreed other arrangements in writing, payment is due on completion of the service (for one-off cleans) or by the due date on your invoice (for recurring commercial accounts). We will let you know the payment methods we accept when you book. Overdue accounts may have work paused until payment is brought up to date.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, our liability for any claim connected with a service is limited, at our option, to re-performing the service or refunding the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and HygieneXperts submit to the courts of that State.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with the "last updated" date shown above, and the terms that apply to your booking are those current when you confirm it.
